“Connection is the energy that is created between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment.”
- Brené Brown
Our Approach
Our approach is rooted in the belief that our childhood experiences significantly shape how we think, feel, and act as adults. By understanding how early relationships, experiences, or even unresolved trauma have influenced us, we can begin to see patterns that may be impacting our current lives and relationships. Together, we may explore these past experiences, helping you gain insight into how they might be affecting your emotions, behaviors, and choices today. Through this understanding, we work to empower you with the tools to heal, grow, and create more fulfilling connections in your life.
In our work together, we’ll address issues such as anxiety, boundary-setting, people-pleasing, and the challenge of saying no, helping you build the confidence and skills to navigate these areas with greater ease. Our approach also delves into patterns like self-sabotage, supporting you in cultivating mindfulness, self-acceptance, and a willingness to change where you feel it’s needed. With practical tools and personalized guidance, we’ll work to equip you with strategies to overcome challenges, build healthier boundaries, and foster a more empowered, fulfilling life.

Attachment styles
Attachment styles, formed in childhood, deeply influence how we connect with others as adults. Whether you have an anxious attachment (constantly seeking reassurance), avoidant attachment (tending to distance yourself), or secure attachment (feeling confident and trusting in relationships), these patterns impact your ability to form and sustain healthy relationships.
Working with a counselor knowledgeable in attachment styles can help you identify and understand these patterns, offering you the tools to shift toward healthier, more fulfilling connections. With guidance, you can learn how to navigate relationship challenges, communicate effectively, and foster deeper emotional bonds.

Our Rates
Initial Consultation
This gives us an opportunity to connect and explore how I might support you in reaching your goals. During this brief phone call, we’ll discuss your reasons for seeking counselling, any questions you may have, and what you’re hoping to achieve. This time is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my approach and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward. My priority is finding the right fit for both of us, so you feel supported and understood every step of the way. If I determine that we are not a good fit for each other, I may refer you or suggest an alternative practitioner to ensure you get the best possible care.
